I’ve been hypercritical of this genre of music for as long as I can remember, however, it’s been over 13 years since this song was released and I still love it. That said -and I’m a bit late here, September 29th of this year marked the 10th anniversary of her death. In other words, relevancy here is bolstered.

I don’t know what to say other than that it’s completely heartbreaking and pathetic that Gaddafi’s death and (hopefully) the long-awaited freedom of the Libyan people is NOT a trending topic on Twitter and NOT something that I have seen talked about on Facebook. So much for “worldwide concern expressed via social networks.” [Maybe Tumblr will be a successful medium here?]
